Are your units authorized by URSEA?

Yes. Our full line of chargers for cars and trucks is registered with URSEA under authorization VU-SE-17-000123. The registry is public and you can look it up.

Who does the installation?

We do, in house. We never subcontract: our engineers and UTE-certified electricians install every unit following Uruguayan electrical code.

Which cars are compatible?

Any electric or plug-in hybrid car with a Type 2 connector, the standard for the ones sold in Uruguay. That includes the plug-in models from Tesla, BYD, Geely, GAC / Aion, Fiat, Dongfeng, Renault, Chevrolet, Jetour, Toyota, Omoda, Hyundai, JMC / JMEV, GWM / Ora, Riddara, MG, Changan, Foton, Karry, Deepal, Citroën, Peugeot, BMW, Forthing, Victory, Wuling, JAC, Soueast, Jaecoo, Jeep, Bestune, DFSK, Leapmotor, Mercedes-Benz, Lynk & Co, BAIC, Audi, Maxus, Arcfox, Kia, Farizon, Hudson, Zeekr, Smart, Volvo, Land Rover, Xpeng, Kaiyi, Mini, Keyton, Opel, Avantier, Maserati, Avatr, BAW, KGM, and XEV. The car sets the speed: if it accepts up to 7.2kW, it charges at that even on a 22kW wallbox.

What warranty do the units carry?

One year of warranty, handled directly by us here in Uruguay. You do not depend on overseas service or a middleman importer.

What areas do you cover?

We install in Montevideo and across the country. If you are outside the metro area, get in touch and we will arrange the site visit and timeline.

Do you work with businesses, buildings and fleets?

Yes. We handle projects for businesses, parking facilities, buildings and fleets, with 7.2 and 22 kW units. Get in touch and we will scope it against your existing installation.

What happens after the purchase?

You get local technical support: commissioning, Rayforce app setup and any questions afterwards. You message us and we handle it ourselves.

How it works, what to know and where to apply

Your vehicle's charging speed depends on three things: the charger's power, the power you have contracted with UTE and the car's own charging capacity. It charges at the lowest of the three.

Many homes have less than 5 kW contracted. In that case the charger works normally, but charges more slowly. Increasing your power lets you get more out of the charger, as long as your vehicle supports it too. If you charge overnight, a lower power may be enough for daily use.

The increase is requested from UTE by the account holder or an authorised representative. In other cases it depends on the power requested and on whether any works are needed.

When switching to three-phase, or increasing three-phase power, UTE may ask for the installation to be upgraded, for example by replacing the service cable at the entrance. In those cases the application is submitted by an installation company with a licensed technician, such as Rayforce.

Why buy a wallbox charger?

A wall-mounted charger built to charge fast and safely, every day. It is installed in your garage or carport and delivers far more power than the emergency Schuko charger that comes with the car.

The BS-20, one of the safest models

Electrical protections are built in: overload, short circuit, overvoltage and earth leakage. IP66 certified for outdoor use and charging in the rain, and it works between -25°C and +55°C.

Charge from 0 to 100 in less time

The car's cable delivers 2.3 kW; the wallbox reaches up to 22 kW*. You can also protect the battery by setting the range, so it stops at 80% and does not overcharge. *Depending on the car's onboard charger.

Control it from your phone over Bluetooth

Start, stop and schedule charging from your phone, over Bluetooth. You can lock it with a 6-digit code for shared garages, set the schedule and leave it charging during UTE's off-peak valley rate.

Compatible with the Uruguayan market

Type 2 connector, the standard for every electric and plug-in hybrid. If you change cars, the charger still works.

Will it work with your EV?

Ask your dealership for your car's maximum AC charging power, because it varies by model. For example, a car that accepts up to 7.2 kW won't charge at 22 kW, even if the wallbox is rated at 22 kW.
