7.2 kW and 22 kW wallbox chargers for electric and hybrid cars
Charging solutions for electric cars, SUVs and trucks in Uruguay. Choose the power level that best fits your needs, with the BS20 model family in 7.2kW and 22kW.
Tips for choosing a wallbox charger
1. Ask your dealership
Ask what the maximum AC charging capacity of your car's onboard charger is. It ranges from 3 kW to 22 kW depending on the model, and it sets the power you will actually be able to use.
2. Contracted power at home
Check how much power you have contracted with UTE. On single-phase supplies the maximum is 7.5 kW, so an 11 or 22 kW charger will not deliver any more than a 7.2 kW one.
3. UTE's Triple Horario tariff
With the Triple Horario tariff the price of energy changes by time band: Valle, Llano and Punta. Charging during Valle, energy can be up to 5 times cheaper than during Punta.
